The Apple Store Studio is a converted Stable and Apple Store, once a part of a Coach House built to service the main London to Bath Road where it ran alongside the River Avon at Reybridge in Lacock, Wiltshire. Lacock is a historic village, once in the ownership of the Fox Talbot family who gifted it to the National Trust along with Lacock Abbey, the birthplace of photography invented by William Fox Talbot.
Situated a short walk from the centre of the village the Apple Store now provides, on the ground floor, studio space for large scale painting and for the storage of completed work. On the first floor is accommodation for the studio reference library, for easel painting and preparatory studies.
